Serie A duo join in the race to sign Arsenal and Chelsea target

The Italian Serie A duo Inter Milan and Napoli are the latest clubs to be linked with a move for Barcelona’s Arda Turan.

According to the Express, Barcelona want to offload Arda Turan this summer after signing both Andre Gomes and Denis Suarez. The Turkish international struggled last season and has slipped down the pecking order following Barce’s transfer activity.

The Spanish newspaper Sport report that Inter Milan and Napoli are among several clubs interested in the 29-year-old. The Sun meanwhile report that Chelsea are also interested while the Express state that Arsenal are interested in signing Turan.

The Turkish international midfielder is currently in England with the rest of the Barca squad and it remains to be seen whether the Premier League giants will send representatives to make an enquiry for the 29-year-old.

Turan has another four-years remaining on his contract with Barcelona. The 29-year-old provided four assists and scored two goals in 25 appearances in all competitions for Barcelona last season.
