Semih Kaya is expected to return to Galatasaray’s starting line-up against Kayseri Erciyesspor this weekend.

The young centre back sustained an injury in the International Royal Cup friendly tournament during the winter break.

Kaya missed Galatasaray’s games against Bursaspor, Eskisehirspor, Balikesirspor and Sivasspor.

The Turkish international also missed Galatasaray’s 4-1 victory over Konyaspor in the Turkish Cup.

Kaya is expected to replace Koray Gunter in defence for this weekends game. The Lion’s manager Hamza Hamzaoglu wants to get the highly rated centre back ready for the derby against Fenerbahce in two weeks.
