Serie A gints step up interest in Everton & Liverpool target Erkin

Inter Milan have stepped up their interest in Fenerbahce’s in-demand fullback Caner Erkin.

The Turkish newspaper Milliyet has reported that Inter are looking to send Alex Telles back to Galatasaray in order to open up a first team slot for Caner next season.

Liverpool and Everton are also in the race to sign Erkin according to the Express newspaper.

However, the Turkish international has not received any offers as of yet according to his agent Batur Altiparmak.

Altiparmak told Turkish-football.com: “There have been no offers.”

“There have been enquiries from 5-6 teams but I have not mentioned names of any clubs and no agreements have been reached either.”

Erkin has attracted interest from across Europe and could be available on a free-transfer in the summer if Fenerbahce fail to sign a contract extension deal.

The attacking full-back has eight assists and one goal in 26 appearances for Fenerbahce this season. The Yellow Canaries take on Konyaspor in the Turkish Super Lig this weekend.
