Sivasspor after Leicester City target Tomas Sivok

Sivasspor manager Sergen Yalcin has targeted Besiktas’s out of favour centre back Tomas Sivok.

According to the Turkish newspaper Fanatik, Sivasspor have opened talk with Sivok’s representatives and want to wrap the transfer up before the end of the transfer window.

Sivok’s place in the Besiktas squad has been put under question following the the transfer of Alexander Milošević from AIK Stockholm this month.

The Premier League side Leciester City and the Greek side PAOK Thessaloniki have been linked witht he Czech Republic international by isport.blesk.cz.

Sivok’s contract with Besiktas expires at the end of the season.

Sivasspor have been active in the January transfer window having already signed Ibrahim Ozturk, Eneramo and Ibrahim Akin.

Sivok joined Besiktas from Udinese in July 2008 for €5 million. The defender has made 12 appearances for the Black Eagles this season. Sivok has 48 international caps for the Czech Republic.
