Sivasspor prepare for Besiktas clash

Sivasspor have begun preparations for this weekends clash with Besiktas in the Turkish Super Lig.

Sergen Yalcin lead training today and spoke with local media reporters.

“We do not want to be caught up in a relegation battle,” Sergen Yalcin told NTVSpor.

“We need to win games and want to pick up as many points as we can against Beşiktaş, Çaykur Rizespor and Bursaspor before the international break.”

Sivasspor have picked up just one point in their last two games and are coming off the back of a 0-0 draw with Genclerbirligi last weekend.

The Yigdolar sit in 12th place with 24 points in 22 games. Yalcin’s side are just four points above the relegation zone.

Besiktas sit in second place with 48 points in 22 games and have also pciked up just one point in their last two games.
