The reigning champions Galatasaray kick-off their league campaign with a tricky away trip against Sivasspor.
The Lions have been largely overshadowed in the transfer market by their Istanbul rivals but still managed to strengthen by bringing in Lukas Podolski, Jose Rodriguez and Bilal Kısa.
Sivasspor managed to keep hold of most their key players over the summer but failed to make any noteworthy transfers.
Galatasaray may have not made as flashy signings as Fenerbahce and Besiktas but this is the same side that won everything there is to win in Turkey last season.
The Lions are being underestimated and will be without Felipe Melo however, they still have more than enough quality and experience to find a way past Sivasspor.
