Sivasspor beat Konyaspor 1-0 to record their third consecutive Süper Lig win.

The Yiğidolar have shown a marked improvement since the appointment of Sergen Yalçın as manager.

Sivasspor beat Gaziantepspor 3-1 in the round of 18, Akhisar 2-0 in the round of 19 and Konyaspor in the round of 20.

The Yiğidolar have won three games in a row for the first time this season and have only lost once in six games coached by Yalçın.

Sivasspor have won four games, drawn one and lost one game under Yalçn.

The Central Anatolian based side moved up into 10th place following the win. Sivasspor have recorded 23 points after 20 games in the Süper Lig this season.

The Yiğidolar were in the relegation zone when Yalçın took over in December, replacing Roberto Carlos as head coach.

Sivasspor will host Süper Lig giants Galatasaray next wekeend.

Carlos is now in charge of fellow Süper Lig strugglers Akhisar who are currently in 13th place on 22 points.
