Skrtel makes first Champions League start since move from Liverpool – Confirmed Line-ups

The Slovakian international defender Martin Skrtel will make his first start for Fenerbahce since move from Liverpool  earlier this month.

Skrtel made 21 appearances in the Champions League for Liverpool – including one qualifier. The 31-year-old will be joined by Simon Kjaer and Roman Neustadter as part of a back three.

Kjear, is into his second season at the club while summer signing Gregory van der Wiel also starts at right wing back.

Skrtel joined Fenerbahce on a three-year deal from Liverpool over the summer but despite only being at the club for a few weeks he is expected to lead the defence against Monaco.
