‘Manchester City have made a move’ – Club president confirms Premier League giants transfer efforts to sign 17-year-old wonder kid
Altinordu goalkeeper Berke Ozer is being targeted by Manchester City according to club president Seyit Mehmet Ozkan.
Ozkan revealed that Manchester City are pushing for a move along with three other clubs.
Ozer has four sides ranging from England, Germany, Italy and Spain all actively trying to sign the 17-year-old keeper.

“One of the clubs trying to sign Berke Ozer is Manchester City,” Ozkan was quoted as saying by Turkish-Football.
“In total four teams are from the race the other clubs are from Germany, Italy and Spain.
“We want Berke to stay on and become a first-team keeper for us because we will give him playing time.
“Berke is going to go to the World Cup in India with the under-17 side so he’ll gain valuable experience there.”
Eren Sarigul of Turkish-Football recently wrote an article for ESPN stating that City have been keeping close tabs on the 16-year-old keeper for well over a season.
City have been scouting Ozer since the 2016 U16 All Star Cup which took place in the Czech Republic according to Turkish-Football sources.
Altinordu Seyit Mehmet Ozkan was quoted last year as saying: “Manchester City and a few German sides want Berke Ozer.”
Ozer has already broken into Altinordu’s first-team squad and is the latest in a long line of promising players to emerge from the academy.
The Altinordu wonder-kid has made two starts in the league for his side this season.
Twenty-year-old Caglar Soyuncu joined Freiburg last summer and has become a first team regular in the Bundesliga.
Meanwhile 20-year-old Cengiz Under became the most expensive Turkish international to leave the Super Lig when he was snapped up by Roma for €15 million.
