‘I am worth €150m!’ – Star midfielder Arsenal sold for €500K talks about his current valuation
Besiktas midfielder Oguzhan Ozyakup has gone onto become a star player since leaving Arsenal in 2012.
The Turkish international played a key role in his side winning back to back league titles.
Ozyakup has also played an important role in Besiktas’ Champions League campaign this season.
The Black Eagles are currently first in Group G after winning their first two games against Porto and Leipzig.
The Istanbul giants ended up becoming the first Turkish side to beat Porto in European competition and win their first two games of the Champions League group stage.
Ozyakup joined Besiktas for just €500,000 but his valuation has shot up since then.
The 24-year-old spoke about his current valuation to Turkish sports magazine Socrates.
Ozyakup was asked about Besiktas fans claiming that he is now worth €150 million.

“I am worth €150 million!,” Ozyakup said.
“Together with Cenk Tosun we are now worth €300 million!.
“I have seen it of course, I keep being sent these messages about my valuation.
“It is great of course nice to see things like this.”
Ozyakup currently has under 12 months remaining on his contract.
Besiktas claim to have a deal in place for a new agreement but Ozyakup has yet to officially sign a new contract.
Despite fans and sections of the media claiming Ozyakup is worth €150 million a source close to Besiktas revealed to Turkish-Football that the club value him around the €20 million mark.
Ozyakup has one assist in eight appearances for the reigning Super Lig champions in all competitions.
Besiktas take on Trabzonspor next in the Super Lig next on Sunday 1 October, Ozyakup is expected to start.
