Liverpool beat Stoke City 1-0 at the Britannia stadium in the League Cup semi-final first-leg tie.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp picked a strong side going into the game with first-team regulars Emre Can, Coutinho and Lucas all starting.

Jordan Ibe scored the one and only goal of the game on 37 minutes to give the Reds an important away victory.
