Stoke City flop with just 2 goals this season could be headed for Premier League exit following Galatasaray interest

Galatasaray have set their sights on Stoke City striker Wilfried Bony according to the Turkish newspaper Fanatik.

Bony is currently on a season-long loan at the Potters from Manchester City. The Ivory Coast international’s contract with City expires in July 2019.

The powerful striker has only played 690 minutes of Premier League football this season.

The experienced striker has just two goals to his name after ten apperances for Stoke City and the Potters are unlikely to make his loan stay permanent.

Per the source, Bony is unlikely to remain at City next season after failing to make an impact since his arrival and Galatasaray are keen to loan the 28-year-old.

However, Fanatik state that City want to sell Bony rather than loan him out again and may be willing to let him go on a cut-price deal.

Bony joined Man City for a mega £28 million form Swansea City back in 2015 (Daily Mail).

Galatasaray are looking to bolster their attacking options this summer with star forward Lukas Podolski on his way out. Podolski has agreed to join the Japanses side Vitesse Kobe.
