Stoke City v Liverpool – Predicted Lineups – Emre Can set to start

Emre Can, Liverpool

Liverpool take on Stoke City tonight in the first leg of the Carlin Cup semi-finals at the Britannia Stadium.

The Red’s boss Jurgen Klopp knows the Carlin Cup is the Red’s most realistic shot at lifting silverware this season and is set to field his strongest startling line-up.

Emre Can has been a constant feature in the Red’s starting line-up since the appointment of Klopp. The 21-year-old is expected to start alongside Lucas and Lallana in midfield.

The Germany international played the full 90 minutes in Liverpool’s disappointing defeat at the hands of West Ham United over the weekend.

Can has provided one assist and one goal in 27 appearances for Liverpool this season.
