Stoke City vs Arsenal: Probable Line-ups – Wenger expected to keep 3-5-2 setup but dealt injury blow

Arsenal take on Stoke City needing a victory to keep hopes of a top-four Premier League finish alive.

The Gunners beat Southampton 2-0 mid-week to overtake Manchester United and move into fifth-place.

The North London based outfit still need to close the three point gap with fourth-placed City if they are to book Champions League football next season.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has had success with his new 3-5-2 setup over recent weeks and is likely to keep with the same formation against the Potters.

Wenger will be without Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain after he picked up a hamstring injury against Southampton.

Chamberlain had been featuring as a make shift right wing-back in Wenger’s new formation and is likely to be replaced by Hector Bellerin.

Granit Xhaka returned from an ankle injury to play against the Saints and Mustafi also returned from the sidelines.

Germany international of Turkish origin Mesut Ozil will be available and is expected to start after providing his 12th assist of the season against the Saints.

Stoke City have a full strength squad to pick from against the Gunners.
