Sturridge admits he is unfamiliar with Beşiktaş [divider]
Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge admitted that he is unfamiliar with Beşiktaş but has been watching video footage to study his opposition ahead of the Europa League Round of 32 first-leg match.
“I know Besiktas are a good side from what I have watched in videos. They’re not a team that I see every week. So I’d be lying if I said I knew everything about them,” Sturridge was quoted as saying on the official Liverpool website.

Sturridge recently recovered from injury but is expected to feature against Beşiktaş.
The 25-year-old has three goals and two assists in eight appearances for Liverpool.
The England international has a total of 39 goals and 16 assists in 57 games for the Reds in all competitions.
The Reds are currently in 7th place in the Premier League on 42 points after 25 games.
Beşiktaş are currently 1st in the Süper Lig and finished the Europa League Group C as leaders.
The Black Eagles progressed through the group stages without a single loss and faced another Premier League side in Group C – Tottenham.
