Arda Tran has stated that he has been very impressed by the selfless attitude shown by the likes of Messi, Neymar, Andres Iniesta and Sergio Busquets.
The Turkish international praised Barcelona’s stars ability to remain hungry and focused on winning despite all their prior success.
“For them it is more important to be successful than to earn money,” Arda told Mundo Deportivo .
“Although they are great players, they park their egos for the good of the team. I saw the example of Leo against Sevilla, running 50 metres back to defend.
“It was incredible. I think that if Leo and Ney run, well I better run even more!”
Turan scored his first goal for Barcelona earlier this week during the La Liga champions 5-1 victory over Vallecano.
The 29-year-old’s goal came in the 86th minute when he headed in a cross from Jeremy Mathieu.
Barcelona travel to the Ipurua to take on Eibar in the La Liga today hoping to extend their unbeaten run to 36 games.
Luis Enrique has decided to rotate his side going into today’s clash dropping Neymar but he will have Dani Alves available after serving his suspension.
Turan has provided three assists and one goal in 13 appearances since joining from Atletico Madrid.
