Sunderland rivaled by European giants in race to sign Man Utd outcast

The Turkish Super League champions Besiktas have joined Sunderland in the race to sign Adnan Januzaj from Manchester United.

The Daily Mail have reported that Sunderland are keen to snap up the 21-year-old on loan. The Black Cats boss David Moyes managed Januzaj during his break-out season at United and is playing a major role in negotiations.

Meanwhile, the Italian outlet RAI (via Fotospor) have stated that Besiktas are also interested in signing Januzaj, who spent last season out on loan at Borussia Dortmund.

According to theTelegraph, Jose Mourinho has instructed Januzaj to find a new club. Per the source, United are willing to accept a £10 million offer for the Belgium international.

The Belgium international has failed to keep a regular spot in the first team over the past few seasons at United and enjoyed a disappointing loan move to Dortmund over the second half of last season.
