Fenerbahçe 1-0 Başakşehir

Başakşehir proved once again why they are one of the toughest sides to break down in the Turkish Super League. Beşiktaş 2-1 Galatasaray

Beşiktaş had yet to win a single derby going into the 2015-16 campaign but have now won their last two under Şenol Güneş. The Black Eagles did however, have to do it the hard way. Goalkeeper Tolga Zengin was dropped after his errors resulted in the Black Eagles crashing out of the Europa League group stages following a 3-1 defeat against Sporting Lisbon on Thursday. Güneş must have felt cursed when Günay conceded the opening goal against Sneijder due to yet another keeping error. Mario Gomez was however, on hand to show why he has been recalled to the Germany national team and why Manchester United are interested in him with the equaliser just a minute later. Gomez now has 13 goals in all competitions for the Eagles this season and three in his last two derbies. Second half substitute Gökhan Töre went onto score the winner and take Beşiktaş top of the table.
