Luongo recently revealed that he is happy at Swindon and wants to remain in England.

“It’s not ideal, it’s not something I’m looking forward to,” Luongo was quoted as saying by the Swindon Advertiser.

“I’ve always wanted to play in England and I am. I’m quite comfortable there. If a silly offer came in from a nice team, it’s hard to turn down, but it’s not really my goal, to go to Europe.”

Luongo would join Australian born Ersan Gülüm and Aziz Behich in the Süper Lig were he to move to Turkey.

The 22-year-old has featured in the Australian side that reached the Asian Cup final.

Australia will face South Korea in the final to determine who will become the champions of Asia.

Luongo has made 70 appearances for Swindon joining from Tottenham in 2013.
