Telles's agent Otto: "Telles may leave"

Alex Telles’s agent Fernando Otto has hinted that his client is unhappy with the lack of first team opportunities at Galatasaray and that he may leave in January.

The 21-year-old left-back has recently been linked with a €10 million move to Ligue 1 side PSG.

Speaking to the Turkish newspaper Fanatik, Otto stated “Telles was playing very well last season under Mancini but has stalled since the arrival of Prandelli. This has noting to do with the foreign player restrictions.

“There are many clubs around Europe interested in Telles but he doesn’t even make the squad at Galatasaray. I cannot understand this.

“If this continues Telles may leave for another club. He [Telles] just wants to play football.”

Telles also revealed that he has struggled with not being able to play regular first team football but understands manager Cesare Prandelli.

“It is not easy not playing every game,” Telles said.

“I would love to play every game but I have to respect Prandelli’s decisions.

The former Juventude player joined Galatasaray on a €6 million transfer from Gremio last January.

Telles has only made six appearances for Galatasaray this season.
