Turkish national team manager Fatih Terim has travelled to Germany to try and resolve the ongoing feud between Hakan Çalhanoğlu, Ömer Toprak and Gökhan Töre.

Terim was invited to the Bayer Leverkusen – Atletico Madrid Champions League Last 16 game by Bayer sporting director Rudi Voller.

The Crescent-Stars head coach will hold a meeting with Bayer stars Çalhanoğlu and Toprak after the game.

“We are trying to resolve the issue, we want everyone to play so hopefully the meeting goes well and we get them to return,” Terim told Eurosport TR.

Toprak, Çalhanoğlu and Töre were involved in an altercation last year which resulted in a gun being pulled on the Bayer duo.

Töre was reported to have had a fight with a friend of Toprak while a friend of the Beşiktaş winger held a gun to both Bayer players.

The incident sparked outrage but Terim has decided to forgive Töre at what seems the expense of Toprak and Çalhanoğlu.

Toprak and Çalhanoğlu have not been called up to the national team since the incident but Terim will be hoping to resolve the issue.
