The Super Lig title race is ‘crazy’ says Veli Kavlak [divider]
Beşiktaş midfielder and Austria international Veli Kavlak has described the Süper Lig title race as being crazy.
“It changes every week, if Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray win we have to win or we drop out the race, the same applies to the others, just one defeat could lose you the race right now and it is going to be the same for the next nine weeks, it is crazy,” Kavlak was quoted as saying to Sporx.

The Black Eagles are currently second in the Süper Lig, just one point behind league leaders Galatasaray and one point ahead of third placed Fenerbahçe.
Beşiktaş could have opened up a seven point gap with Fenerbahçe last week but they ended up losing the Istanbul derby 1-0 allowing Galatasaray to overtake them following a 3-2 win over Kasımpaşa.
Kavlak was born in Austria but is also a Turkish citizen through his parents.
The 25-year-old joined Beşiktaş for £600,000 from Rapid Vienna in 2011 and has eight goals and 14 assists in 144 appearances for the Black Eagles.
