Robin van Persie is a brand in himself. The Dutch star is an internationally recognised player and shirts bearing his name were the highest selling football jerseys in the Premier League in the 2012-13 and 2013-14 seasons. Despite being given less playing time last season Van Persie was still in the top 10 in terms of named shirt sales in the league. The arrival of Van Persie at Fenerbahçe would obviously strengthen the current side but could also result in an increase in merchandise sales and advertising agreements.
