Beşiktaş midfielder Tolgay Arslan admitted that he will always have a soft spot for his former club HSV Hamburg.

“I have always loved Hamburg, they are my club and that will never change I always want the best for them,” Arslan told Turkish newspaper Milliyet.

Arslan joined the Black Eagles on a €400,000 move from HSV on a 3.5 year deal.

The 24-year-old will make €650,000 until the end of the current league campaign and €1.3 million next season.

The Germany and Turkey U20 international moved to Hamburg from Dortmund on a free transfer in 2009 and has played a total of 92 games for the Bundesliga outfit.

Arslan will be available for the Black Eagles clash with Mersin İdmanyurdu on Sunday.

The former HSV midfielder was born in Germany but can play with a domestic status in the Süper Lig due to being of Turkish heritage.

Arslan had two assists in 15 appearances in all competitions for HSV this season.
