Tolgay Arslan reveals Besiktas deal

HSV midfielder Tolgay Arslan has confirmed that he has reached an agreement with the Turkish Super League side Besiktas. The Black Eagles have agreed a €300,000 transfer fee with the Bundesliga club for Arslan.
According to Eurosport TR 24-year-old will sign a three and a half year deal keeping him at Besiktas until July 2018. Arslan will receive €700,000 in wages for the second half of the 2014-15 season.
“I am very happy to be joining one of the biggest sides in Turkey,” Tolgay told the Turkish newspaper Fanatik.
“I am excited to continue my career in Turkey. I believe I can help my team achieve success.”

Arslan was available to sign on a free transfer at the end of the season however, Besiktas opted to pay a small transfer fee to secure his signature in January.
Arsenal, Lazio, Napoli and Galatasaray have also been linked with the hard working midfielder.
The Germany and Turkey U20 international moved to Hamburg from Dortmund in 2009 on a free transfer.
Arslan has two assists in 15 appearances in all competitions for HSV this season.
