An easy fact to forget, but Oğuzhan Özyakup was once of Arsenal. Since failing to make the grade at the club, Özyakup has gone about rebuilding his career in an exciting manner. Still only 22-years-old, he’s a technically gifted player boasting immense quality on the ball, with his neat, sharp passing and individual skill. Besiktas are an attacking team and with Özyakup in their midfield they can be destructive over the counter attack, given the former Arsenal man has the ability pick a pinpoint pass into the attack.
Some work on his physical build, and defensive contribution, could well see Özyakup potentially command a move to one of Europe’s major leagues.
