Tottenham fans react to reports claiming Cengiz Under has picked Spurs over Man United
Reports from Turkey have claimed that Tottenham have struck a deal with Turkish side Istanbul BB over their wonder-kid winger Cengiz Under.
The report from sports radio station Radyospor states that Spurs beat Man United to the signing of the young Turkey international.
Under played a starring role in Istanbul Basaksehir’s rise to second place in the league. The Turkish minnows are performing far beyond any pre-season predictions and have earned themselves the title of the ‘Turkey’s Leicester City.’
Per the source, Tottenham struck a £8 million deal for Cengiz Under.
Tottenham fans have taken positively to the news. Some even claimed that former Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor may have played a role in the deal.

However, Turkish-Football made enquiries regarding the deal after the news broke. We can confirm that while Tottenham are interested in Under a deal has not been agreed.
The youngster’s agent Omer Koray Uzun revealed to Turkish-Football that there is currently no agreement on the table.
“There is no agreement right now with any club, there are several clubs from England, Germany and France scouting Under but no deal,” Omer Koray Uzun stated (Read more here).
Under registered seven assists and nine goals in 41 appearances for Istanbul Basaksehir this season.
