Tottenham loanee wants to stay in Turkey but reveals Spurs will have the last say

Tottenham loanee Vincent Janssen has revealed what he wants for the future.

Janssen has been closely linked with Serie A giants Napoli and his loan club Fenerbahce also want him to stay on at the end of the season.

The Dutch forward revealed that he does want to stay at Fenerbahce but that the decision is up to Spurs.

Speaking to the Fanatik newspaper Janssen said: “I am very happy at Fenerbahce.

“I was on a downward spiral last season but have turned over a new leaf in Turkey.

“If it was up to me I would stay here but Tottenham are the only ones to make that decision over my future.

“This is out of my hands, Spurs will decide what is best.”

Janssen has failed to score in his last eight league games but has managed to win over the fans.

The 23-year-old has three goals and four assists in all competitions for the Yellow Canaries this season.

The Tottenham striker did however, score in the Istanbul giants 6-0 Turkish Cup win over Adana Demir last week.

Janssen was also widely praised for allowing youngster Ahmethan Kose to take a last minute sport kick despite being designated penalty taker.

Fenerbahce are currently third in the Super Lig just three points off leaders Galatasaray.
