Beşiktaş board member Erdal Torunoğulları has confirmed that Gökhan Töre is being scouted by a number of clubs.

Torunoğulları was asked whether Tottenham and Manchester United are keeping tabs on Töre.

“A number of players are starting to make a name for themselves,” Torunoğulları told Beşiktaş Magazine.

“Töre is being scouted, I have met with a number of scouts who have made enquiries about him.”

The 23-year-old winger has also been closely linked with a return to Chelsea according to the Metro.

Töre was a star of the FA Youth Cup winning side of 2010. He left in 2011 to join Hamburg and since joining Turkish side Beşiktaş he has attracted the attention of a host of clubs.

Chelsea have a history of resigning former young players.

The Blues signed Nemanja Matic from Benfica in 2014 after selling the Serbian international in 2011.

The explosive winger has seven goals and 10 assists in all competitions for the Black Eagles this season – a career high.

Töre joined the Black Eagles from Kazan for £4 million this summer and has four-years left on his contract.
