Tottenham are the latest Premier League club to join the race to sign young Turkey international Yusuf Yazici.

The Trabzonspor star midfielder has been linked with a move away from the Black Sea based club following an impressive 12-months.

Yazici broke into Trabzonspor’s starting eleven late last year and went onto provide ten assists and score six goals in 22 games.

According to the Turkish outlet Sporx, Tottenham are preparing to step up their interest in the 20-year-old. Per the source the north London-based club could table a formal offer in January.

Meanwhile, Fotomac have claimed that both Arsenal and Manchester United are also keeping tabs on the star playmaker.

Trabzonspor are understood to be holding out for figure close to £17.5m. The attacking midfielder still has five-years remaining on his contract.

Tottenham take on APOEL in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night before hosting Stoke City in the Premier League this weekend.
