Tottenham receive major transfer boost as 26-goal star striker reveals future plans

Besiktas star striker Cenk Tosun has been closely linked with a move to the Premier League in recent weeks.

The Turkey international has been in scintillating form of late with four goals and an assist in four UEFA Champions League games this season.

Tottenham are one of several Premier League clubs interested in Cenk and have reportedly held talks with the player’s representative in London.

Turkish outlet Sporx have claimed that the 26-year-old is keen on a move to the Premier League. However, Cenk does not want to make the move mid-way though the season in January.

Tosun has scored an impressive ten goals in 15 appearances for Besiktas so far this season. The Black Eagles sit third in the Turkish league, five points behind leaders Galatasaray.

Tottenham meanwhile face their biter north London rivals Arsenal in the Premier League this weekend.

Spurs find themselves in third spot after 11 games, eight points behind Man City.
