Tottenham striker suffers injury blow after failing to score for five weeks on loan for Fenerbahce

Tottenham striker Vincent Janssen has not exactly been in red hot scoring form for Fenerbahce this season.

Janssen joined the Yellow Canaries on loan over the summer transfer window but has failed to find the back of the net in his last five games.

To make matters worse the 23-year-old has now suffered an injury that will have him sidelined for at least three weeks.

The Dutch star has a knee injury which will rule him out of the international break.

Janssen started in the 1-1 draw against last placed Super Lig side Osmanlispor over the weekend.

The last time the striker found the back of the net was in the 2-1 derby win over reigning league champions Besiktas.

Fenerbahce have been in poor form since their derby win and have dropped into 7th place, nine points behind league leaders and arch rivals Galatasaray.

The Istanbul giants will take on Sivasspor next after the international break on 19 November at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium.
