The former Arsenal youth player has attracted clubs from across Europe and an impressive couple of seasons since joining North London.

Ozyakup has established himself as a key player for the Black Eagles and played a key role in winning the league title last season.

The 24-year-old is almost certain to start in central midfield for Besiktas against the French giants tonight alongside Canada international Atiba Hutchinson.

The highly rated midfielder has four goals and six assists in all competitions this season.

Ozyakup is a star player for Besiktas but he has hinted in the past that he wants to move abroad in the future.

“Arda Turan has opened up the doors to Europe for Turkish footballers I want to follow in his footsteps,” Özyakup said in a recent interview with Turkish newspaper Milliyet.

“However, first I want to win the Turkish Super Lig title with Besiktas.”

The Turkish international will have just 12 months remaining on his contract at the end of the season.
