Tottenham v Liverpool – Klopp recalls star midfielder to starting XI while Wijnaldum misses out

Liverpool take on Tottenham in today’s blockbuster Premier League fixture.

The fixture takes place at Wembley stadium and kick-off is scheduled for 16:00 (GMT).

Both Liverpool and Tottenham featured in the UEFA Champions League this week.

Jurgen Klopp has recalled Jordan Henderson to his starting lineup. The club captain was rested for Liverpool’s 7-0 win over Maribor.

Emre Can also remains in midfield for the third game in a row.

However, Gini Wijnaldum misses out today due to a knee injury.

Tottenham are unbeaten in their last ten games and have won their last three Premier League fixtures.

The north London based club have however been unable to record a win over Liverpool since November 2012.
