The newspaper states that talks between Trabzonspor sporting director Süleyman Hurma and Jelavic’s representatives have progressed well and that the Croatia international is keen on a move to Turkey.

Trabzonspor are however yet to agree a transfer fee with Hull City for the 27-year-old striker.

The Black Sea Storm have made a £3 million offer for Hull City striker Nikica Jelavic according to the Daily Star.

Jelavic is expected to part ways with the Tigers in the summer after the club was relegated to the Championship.

The 29-year-old scored eight goals and provided one assist in 29 appearances for Hull City last season. Jelavic has a total of 13 goals and two assists for the Tigers since joining from Everton.

Trabzonspor finished last season in fifth place but are expected to invest heavily and mount a title challenge next season.
