The Netherlands international has hinted that he could be on his way out.

“I quite often talk to Didi [Hamburg CEO Dietmar Beiersdorfer], but nothing concrete has been discussed,” Van der Vaart told Kicker.

“Everything’s open. What happens after June is not in my hands. But I don’t feel any pressure. I am totally relaxed.”

The Black Sea Storm lost the race to sign Arslan to their rivals Istanbul despite agreeing personal terms with the 25-year-old.

Trabzonspor could sign Van der Vaart on a free transfer in June but the Black Sea Storm want to reach an agreement to transfer him in January for a small fee.

Stoke City are also interested in the 30-year-old attacking midfielder according to the Stoke Sentinel.

HSV are currently 14th in the German Bundesliga with 17 points in 17 games. Van der Vaart has scored four goals in 13 appearances for Hamburg this season.
