Trabzonspor have set their sights on a shock move for Liverpool’s out-of-favour striker Mario Balotelli.
Following the capture of Stephen M’bia, the Black Sea Storm are after a striker and according to the Express, are preparing a bid for the 24-year-old.
However, the Red’s are almost certain to make a loss on their £16 million investment. The Italian international joined Liverpool from AC Milan at the start of the season but has failed to make an impact.
The volatile striker has managed to score just four goals in 28 appearances this season for Liverpool.
Besiktas have also been linked with a surprise move for the Italian international striker according to Eurosport TR.
The 24-year-old has previously played for Manchester City, AC Milan, Inter Milan and Lumezzane.
Balotelli also has 13 goals in 33 international appearances for the Italian national team.
Trabzonspor finished last season in fifth place but are expected to invest heavily and mount a title challenge next season.
