Trabzonspor have not lost a league game in 2015, the Black Sea Storm have won the second highest number of points over the second half of the season (18) only Galatasaray have more (19).
Ersun Yanal’s side have also scored the second highest number of goals from set-pieces in Europe’s top five leagues.
Trabzonspor have found the back of the net 20 times from set-pieces in the league this season, only Atletico Madrid have more with 22.
The Black Sea Storm also have the most prolific free-kick taker in Europe. Mehmet Ekici has scored five direct free-kick goals this season, if he scores one more he will break the all time league record.
Yanal was appointed manager of Trabzonspor in November, replacing former Algeria national team manager Vahid Halilhodzic.
