Trabzonspor set to sign Uğur Demirok from Akhisar

Trabzonspor are set to sign Uğur Demirok from Akhisar in the January transfer window.

The Black Sea Storm have agreed to pay Akhisar €3 million along with Soner Aydoğdu.

Trabzonspor have also agreed personal terms with Demirok.

Demirok’s agent Uğur Avadan recently confirmed that Trabzonspor, Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe are also keeping tabs on the 26-year-old.

“Uğur’s contract finishes at the end of the season. He has been performing well and has earned national team caps. The interest shown in him is normal and is to be expected,” Avadan said.

“Fenerbahce, Besiktas, Galatasaray, Trabzonspor, Bursaspor and Kasimpasa have all expressed an interest.”

The 26-year-old defender who started his career at Galatasaray has been at Akhisar since 2011.

Demirok’s contract with Akhisar runs out at the end of this season has made 15 appearances for his club this season.
