Trabzonspor have been linked with a move for Manchester City striker John Guidetti by EurosportTR.
The Black Sea Storm’s manager Ersun Yanal is planning to make major revisions to his squad ahead of next season. The former Turkish national team manager wants to form a squad capable of challenging for the title.
The report state that Trabzonspor will offer the Swedish international a deal in the coming days. Guidetti’s contract with Manchester City expires at the end of June.
Guidetti has confirmed that he will not join Celtic following his loan spell in the SPL. Speaking to the Swedish press, the striker has stated that there were too few “big games” in the Scottish calendar to get him recognised by his national side.
Guidetti was closely linked with a move to Turkey last season but joined Celtic on loan.
The Swedish international has 15 goals and 12 assists in 35 appearances in all competitions for Celtic this season.
