Transfer round up: Man Utd hold out for £20m while Tottenham issue hands off warning for Real Madrid target Dele Alli

Its been a busy week in the world of transfer news since the turn of the new year and it seems like the Premier League clubs are open for business in 2017.

Firstly the Manchester Evening News has reported that the Red Devils are holding out for at least £20 million for their out-of-favour midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin. Per-the-source,  West Brom and Everton are both interested in the Frenchman who has lost his place in the side since Jose Mourinho’s appointment over the summer.

Meanwhile, The Sun state that the Ligue 1 giants Marseille are also in the race to sign Schneiderlin from United.

In other transfer news from The Sun, Man City are interested in signing Sevilla midfielder Steven N’Zonzi as a replacement for Ilkay Gundogan who is expected to miss the remainder of the season with a knee injury.

The Independent have also linked City with Atletico Madrid’s 20-year-old defender Lucas Hernandez.

In the days most high profile news, Tottenham have issued a hands off warning to Real Madrid according to SkySports. The North London based club will not sell Dele Alli at any price after reports emerged that Real Madrid are considering a £50m offer for the youngster.
