Turkish giants chase Feyenoord youth Caner Yalamoğlu

Galatasaray, Bursaspor and Beşiktaş are reported to be in a three-way race to sign Feyenoord youth player Caner Yalamoğlu according to Milliyet.

The 18-year-old midfielder was born in the Netherlands in 1996 and currently plays in the Feyenoord reserve side.

The highly rated youngster has represented the Netherlands at U17 level but recently switched allegiances to represent Turkey at international youth level.

The Feyenoord youth could still represent either his country of birth or the Crescent-Stars at senior international level.

Yalamoğlu is of Turkish descent, his family are from the Black Sea region of Samsun and the northern central Anatolian region of Çorum.

The young midfielder joined the Feyenoord academy at the age of four and he has been with the Dutch giants ever since.

Yalamoğlu has been involved in the Dutch national team setup since the age of 13.

The young midfielder has admitted in the past that he is a Galatasaray fan and that he has a soft spot for Samsunspor.
