Fellaini has just over 12 months remaining on his contract and has yet to be offered a new deal.

United would lose the powerful midfielder they paid €32 million for in 2014 on a free transfer if they decide not to renew his contract over the summer.

The 28-year-old has also been closely linked with a move to China and hinted that he would be open to a move in the future.

Fellaini told VTM News‘In China? Why not? I’m now a Manchester United player, but I do not rule out such a transfer in the future.’

Fellaini made 47 appearances for United in all competitions this season.

The Belgium international has scored 15 times and provided nine assists in 133 games since joining United from Everton.
