Turkish giants prepare bizarre bid for £30m Chelsea star striker Diego Costa

Turkish Super League champions Besiktas are preparing an unorthodox bid for Chelsea striker Diego Costa.

According to the Turkish outlet Fanatik, Besiktas are looking to sign Costa on a short-term loan deal.

Per the source, Costa is keen on a move to Atletico Madrid however, he will be unable to play for the Spanish giants for six months due to a transfer ban in place.

Fanatik states that Besiktas want to loan Costa until January. The report also states that the Istanbul giants are in talks with Costa’s agent Jorge Mendes over the short-term loan deal.

Besiktas will be able to offer the Spain international first-team football.

The Istanbul giants have won back-to-back Super League titles and have also finished the last two seasons as the highest goal scoring side in the league.

Costa played a major role in Chelsea’s title winning season. The 28-year-old racked up eight assists and 22 goals in 42 apperances for Chelsea last term.
