Turkish giants to table €3.5 million per year deal for Man Utd star

Galatasaray are preparing to table a loan offer for Manchester United’s out-of-favour midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger.

The daily sports paper AMK have revealed that the Lion’s are willing to pay just €3.5 million of Schweinsteiger €6.5 million per season wages.

Galatasaray have been forced to cut back on spending after being suspended from European competition by UEFA for Financial Fair Play breaches.

Schweinsteiger has been banished to the reserve side and was not included in the Red Devils pre-season squad according to the Guardian.

The 32-year-old has not played in the pre-season friendlies and Jose Mourinho has made it clear that Schweinsteiger does not feature in his plans next season.

Schweinsteiger managed just 13 Premier League starts for Man Utd last season and was plagued with knee injuries.

Galatasaray take on Karabukspor in their opening game of the 2016-17 Turkish Super League season in two weeks time while United travel to Bournemouth for their opener this weekend.
