Turkish international joins Dortmund squad ahead of Man Utd clash

Turkish international midfielder Nuri Sahin has travelled with the Borussia Dortmund squad ahead of their tour of China.

Sahin has not however, been picked in the starting line-up for the clash against Manchester United but he is in the squad.

The central midfielder was picked for the Turkish national side in the European Championships but did not feature for the Crescent-Stars as he was lacking match fitness.

Sahin has been joined by fellow Turkish international star Emre Mor who was snapped up by Dortmund on a five-year deal days before the start of the European Championships.

Dortmund will have two Turkish international players next season and both could feature at some stage today against United.

Sahin’s last season was disrupted by injuries but he has now recovered and is expected to be match fit in time for the Bundesliga campaign.
