Ilkay Gündoğan played a starting role in his 11th cap for the Germany national team last night during their 7-0 victory over Gibraltar.
The Borussia Dortmund playmakers scored Germany’s third goal in the 51st minute. The 24-year-old was taken off in place of Sami Khedira after 67 minutes.
Gündoğan received a rating of 9.11 from whoscored.com. The Manchester United target made one key pass, took two shots on target and made three interceptions. The Dortmund midfielder made 60 passes maintaining a passing accuracy of 88.4%.
Germany are currently second in Group D with 13 points from six games. Poland are first on 14 points while Gibraltar are last with no points.
Gündoğan has been closely linked with a move to Manchester United by the Metro over the past month.
