‘Two Giants Have Made Offers’ – Basaksehir club official reveals who have made official bids for Cengiz Under

Basaksehir wonder kid Cengiz Under is edging closer to a summer exit according to club vice president Mustafa Saral.

Turkish-Football have reported a long standing interest from Manchester United for Under and that an offer made by Manchester City last Thursday.

Italian giants Roma became the latest side to make a bid for the Turkish international.

Saral revealed that Roma and City have made an official offer.

“Two giants from world football have made an offer for Cengiz,” Saral said.

“It is an honour to receive this level of interest from Manchester City and Roma who have both made offers.”

Saral did however, confirm that there have been offers from other clubs as well but underlined City and Roma are currently favourites.

The vice president also confirmed that they are nearing a decision on his future.

“There are other bids but these two are the most serious,” he added.

“We are going to decide on the future of Cengiz very soon.” 

A source close to Basaksehir told Turkish-Football that they value Under as being worth €15 million.

The Istanbul based outfit want Under to become the most expensive Turkish international to leave the Super Lig.

Basaksehir are in no rush to make a decision on his future as the 19-year-old forward has another four-years remaining on his contract.

Under saw his value sky rocket after joining Basaksehir on a €700K move from Altinordu last summer.

The Turkish international scored nine times and provided seven assists in all competitions.
