Luis Nani’s agent Federico Pastorello has travelled to Spain to hold talks with Valencia according to the Portuguese newspaper Record.

The report states that the La Liga giants want to wrap up the transfer quickly after learning of competition from Inter and Liverpool.

The Sabah newspaper reports that Ronaldo Koeman has made signing Nani a priority and that Everton are ready to activate his €8.5 million release clause.

Daily sports newspaper Fanatik claim that Liverpool are ready to activate Nani’s release clause while rivals Everton have also been closely linked.

The Record goes onto state that Valencia are preparing to table a bid for the Portugal international over the coming days.

Nani joined Fenerbahce on a three-year deal from Manchester United last season but is reported to have failed out with head coach Vitor Pereira.

The 29-year-old has 13 assists and 12 goals in 47 appearances for Fenerbahce this season.
