Van Persie has no hard feelings towards Man Utd boss Louis van Gaal

Fenerbahçe striker Robin Van Persie stated that he felt no hard feelings towards Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal.

Van Persie was rumoured to have fell out with the Dutch manager before his move to the Yellow Canaries.

The star striker was rumoured to have made his decision to leave United after Louis van Gaal reportedly humiliated him during a team training session according to the Daily Mirror.

“I could see it happening, that is football, from my side there are no hard feelings with how it went this is part of football it is part of life,” Van Persie was quoted as saying by Turkish-football.com.

The 31-year-old also revealed that he met with his teammates before setting off for Turkey and that he appreciated the farewell messages from his former teammates.

“I had a good moment with the players before I came to Istanbul which was special and then when I saw everybody really appreciated my time there was enough and special to me,” he added.

As reported by Turkish-football.com’s Emre Sarıgül and the Guardian’s Marcus Christenson on Thursday Fenerbahçe reached an agreement with Van Persie on 4 July 2015.

The Dutch star has become the second United player to join Fenerbahçe within the span of a week. Former United star Luis Nani joined on a three-year deal last Monday for a £4.3 million transfer fee.
